Hardware Cooling – Parts Upgrade
Features like Minimum Layer Time and Small Feature Speed cannot make up for poor part cooling. I also own a Monoprice Mini Delta which suffers from terrible built-in cooling even after I upgraded the with a dual fan setup. It’s so bad that even with all my slicing tricks the overhangs were still pretty bad. I know other Mini Delta owners have added auxiliary fans outside of the printer case to provide better air flow.
The Monoprice Select Mini comes with a similar setup as the Mini Delta but is not as restricted by scape for part upgrades. I have added a blower for part cooling and a larger hotend fan
